My New Group

I have a new group together which I'm recording in June. Its all new music played by an amazing line-up that I'm really excited about working with, Liam Noble is on piano, Jasper Hoiby, bass, Dave Smith (OutHouse etc) on drums and Dave Priseman on trumpet. Album out late 2008, tour shaping up for Feb/March 2009. Watch this space!

I'm playing Mark Anthony Turnage's A Man Descending with the Southbank Sinfonia at St Johns, Waterloo on May 1st . Orginally written for sax player Joe Lovano , I think its only been done once before in the UK , be lovely to see you there. NDR Big Band audio

I've just put up some MP3s of some of the big band music I did in Germany with the NDR big band.

I plan at some point to do a tour in the UK of some of this music. The NDR features many great soloists including Christof Lauer, Lutz Buchner, Joe Gallardo, Ingolf Burkhardt, Marcio Doctor and Claus Stötter. Also featured on drums is Britain's fantastic Nic France.

National Youth Jazz Orchestra Of Scotland Tour

I've been asked to be the special guest of NYJOS for their tour around Scotland in late July.  I will be playing some of my compositions with them, see dates for details.
